Hello, I'm Beth

I'm a qualified integrative counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. As an integrative counsellor, I'm trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, allowing me to meet you where you are and adapt our work to your individual needs.

Together, we'll create a compassionate and collaborative space to explore what's happening in your life with curiosity and openness. We'll take time to understand your thoughts, feelings and experiences, and when helpful I may offer a gentle challenge, a different perspective or share ideas that deepen your understanding, always at a pace that feels right for you.

Why I became a counsellor

I’ve always been drawn to conversations that go beyond the surface. Even before training as a counsellor, I found myself fascinated by what shapes us, how we make sense of our experiences, and what helps us move through difficult times. That curiosity eventually led me into counselling.

What I value most about counselling is that it is about making sense of experiences, developing a deeper understanding and discovering a way forward that better serves you and your life.

For me, it's a privilege to work with people as they navigate life's challenges and begin to see themselves with greater clarity and compassion.

My Background

Alongside my BSc in Psychology, I hold an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling and I'm a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

My approach to counselling had been shaped not only by my professional training, but also by what I’ve experienced throughout life. Working within healthcare, volunteering overseas and supporting people through grief, end of life and other challenging times have all deepened my appreciation of the importance of compassion, curiosity and being fully present with another person.

I've had the privilege of supporting adults experiencing a wide range of life's challenges, always with the aim of understanding the individual rather than making assumptions about what they need.
